Technical Information about the Website's Accessibility

This website is partially compliant with Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1. The non-accessible content is described below.

Known Issues

  • Some images on the website lack descriptive captions, which may make it difficult for visually impaired users relying on screen readers to understand the image content.
  • Several PDFs on the website are not accessibility-adapted, which may make it harder for visually impaired users to access the material.
  • Some videos on the website lack equivalent versions with audio descriptions.
  • On Mina Rättigheter, there are interactive elements with insufficient support for keyboard navigation. For example, voting cards on the children’s start pages may pose challenges for users relying on keyboards for navigation, such as visually impaired individuals.
  • On Mina Rättigheter för pedagoger, there is a quiz created using an external service that has multiple accessibility issues and does not comply with the guidelines. A new service for this type of quiz will be chosen.
  • Several issues currently exist in the Lesson Selector. The form lacks descriptive labels, and only color is used to indicate successful input, providing inadequate feedback for visually impaired users. When an invalid lesson number is entered, feedback is provided in text form but does not gain focus, which may cause users relying on screen readers to miss it. Another issue is the lack of visual focus on the button to access a lesson after successfully entering a lesson number.

Our ambition is to resolve all known accessibility issues by October 6, 2023.
